PV Panels are available to more or less every household in the UK, with only those with thatched roofs, and or fully shaded roofs proving to be more problematic.

The most appropriate roofs for Solar PV installation are those facing South West or East and at a 30 degree angle, as we are in the Northern Hemisphere which means those will get the most light. However, it is also more than adequate to have them on East or West facing roofs, which will still produce 85% of what the output would be under perfect conditions. Whether your home is in a rural or urban area is irrelevant, as long as there is a correctly angled, unshaded area facing the correct way. Our surveyors will ensure that the panels are installed on the roof to maximise their output.
